Rim protectors by car
The diameter you match is the one printed on your tire. The lists below are the factory sizes those automakers publish. They are not a measurement of your wheel, and they are not a promise that a protector fits the lip.
Which number do you match?
In a size such as 235/55R19, the 19 is the wheel diameter in inches. That is the number a listing here is talking about when it says 19 inch. The 235 is the width. The 55 is the sidewall height as a percentage of that width.
Two other checks sit next to the diameter. The outer lip has to suit the piece, which is why AlloyGator puts a test tab in the kit. And a second number of 35 or 40 is a low-profile tire, which that guide covers separately. If the front and rear tires print different widths on the same diameter, read do rim protectors fit staggered wheels?
What does Tesla list for a Model Y or Model 3?
Tesla's Model Y owner's manual lists factory wheels at 18, 19, 20, and 21 inches. On the six-seat 19 and 20, and on the 21 Performance, the rear wheel is wider than the front. The diameter on each of those sets is still the same at both ends.
The Model 3 manual is a different table. Rim protectors for a Model Y or Model 3 walks through both, including the tire sizes and AlloyGator's test tab. Shop the diameters at 18 inch, 19 inch, 20 inch, and 21 inch.
What does Hyundai list for an Ioniq 5?
Hyundai's 2027 IONIQ 5 page lists 19-inch alloy wheels on several columns, an 18-inch alloy wheel on one, and a last column of 19-inch alloy on rear-wheel drive or 20-inch alloy on all-wheel drive. The tire row lists 235/55R19, 235/60R18 all-terrain, and 235/55R19 on rear-wheel drive or 255/45R20 on all-wheel drive.
The same page says the XRT has an 18-inch wheel with all-terrain tires. Read the sidewall on your car before you treat a column as yours. The groups are 18 inch, 19 inch, and 20 inch.
What does Ford list for a Mustang Mach-E?
Ford's 2026 Mustang Mach-E order guide puts 225/55R19 tires and a 19-inch wheel on Select. Premium's standard wheel is also 19 inches, the bright machined-face aluminum. GT lists 245/45R20 tires and a 20-inch wheel. Rally lists 235/55R19 tires and a 19-inch wheel.
The 45 in 245/45R20 is the sidewall ratio, not a second diameter. Match 19 or 20 to the tire you have, then open 19 inch or 20 inch.
What does Toyota list for a RAV4?
Toyota's 2026 RAV4 brochure lists 17-inch, 18-inch, and 20-inch wheels across the grades. The RAV4 page names 18-inch wheels on SE and on Woodland, and 20-inch wheels on XSE. Woodland's 18-inch wheels are the ones with all-terrain tires.
This shop does not have a single 17 inch group. A listing that states a range is still that listing's wording, not a measured fit for a 17. Use 18 inch, 20 inch, or the wheel size page, and confirm the number on your tire.
What does Honda list for a Civic?
Honda's 2027 Civic sedan chart lists 16-inch wheels with full covers and 215/55R16 tires on LX. Sport, Sport Hybrid, and Sport Touring Hybrid list 18-inch alloys and 235/40R18 tires. The Civic Type R chart lists 19 x 9.5 inch wheels and 265/30ZR19 tires.
A full cover over the wheel face is a different part from a lip guard. Do rim protectors fit steel wheels or hubcaps? sorts that out. The 40 on the Sport tire, and the 30 on the Type R, are low sidewalls. There is no single 16 inch group here. The 18 inch alloys are in 18 inch, and the Type R diameter is in 19 inch.
