Clip-in or a stick-on rim protector?
In this catalog, an adhesive strip and a clip-in ring are two different pieces. The strip is peel-and-stick trim for the outer lip. The ring snaps onto the rim edge and does not use glue.
A title often says rim protector or curb-rash guard for either one. The word adhesive rarely shows up in those titles. When a clip-in title is more specific, it may say snap-on or clip-on. If the title does not say which kind, the full catalog splits them into adhesive strips and clip-in rings. The Amazon page for that listing has the photos and the directions.
Pro-fit inserts are a third group. Those sit between the tire bead and the rim, which goes on differently from either of these. How to install a rim protector walks through all three.
