Alloy wheel or a rim protector?
General information only. Not a promise that a protector fits, is safe, or is in stock. Prices and stock change.
An alloy wheel is the metal wheel on the car. The rim is the outer lip of that wheel, the part a curb scrapes. A rim protector is a strip or ring you add onto that lip. You are buying a guard for the edge, not a new wheel.
Curb rash is the scrape that shows up there. The listings in this shop are adhesive strips, clip-in rings, and pro-fit inserts for that edge. If the metal is already marked and you want it refinished, that is a repair, which is a different job. Repair or a protector walks through the difference.
A cover that hides the whole face of the wheel is a different part again. If a title says both “protector” and “cover,” rim protector or a full wheel cover sorts those words out. This shop carries the edge pieces.
